“ Today, we drove from East Hampton, Connecticut to Sal's Bakery in Providence, RI to buy their red large party pizzas. Each pizza is cut up into 60 squares, and we travel that far about once a year to buy 3 of them. We make a stop at our son and daughter's homes on the way back to CT to drop off a great big party pizza for each. It is our traditional day trip for all of us. Yes, it is that good! Our son and daughter-in-law found out about this Bakery years ago when they lived in RI and we have been going there ever since. It is absolutely the best. We love it cold, but you can certainly heat it up if you rather have hot pizza. We stuff ourselves with the pizza and then freeze the rest and enjoy it for weeks afterward. Great food, great service, wonderful people...stop there and find out for yourself!! ”
